Skills:
Working Experience in NAS.
MM/GMM/SM/SS/CC/SMS) Layer Development for 2G/3G specification is highly
desirable.
Experience in the design, development, and verification of Cellular radio
access
(GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA) Protocol software systems.
Understanding of Access Stratum (RLC/MAC/RRC) Layers.
Experience in model-based engineering using SDL, and verification using
scripting such as TTCN |
XML / etc., (SDL and TTCN using Telelogic Tau).
Proficient in both C and C++.
Excellent problem solving, logic building and analytical skill.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of Access Stratum (RLC/MAC/RRC) Layers.
Working Experience in NAS.
MM/GMM/SM/SS/CC/SMS) Layer Development for 2G/3G specification is highly
desirable.
ARM based Development Environment experience.
Embedded and commercial product experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite (including VISIO) |

Analyze customer requirements.
Defect analysis of ongoing NAS releases.
Implementation and test of NAS feature upgrades in 3GPP Release 6 and
beyond.
Implementation of NAS standards Change Requests (CRs) in 3GPP Release 6
and beyond.
NAS code optimizations and improvements for stability, performance and
robustness.
Development of upgrades to NAS unit test benches.
Implementation of upgrades to Layer 2/3 subsystem test bench (used to test
NAS and Access Stratum) |
